Research

In the Research category, PHRT supports Personalized Medicine/Personalized Health Research projects which are large projects studying a disease by generating and/or using various types of data and combining both basic and clinically-relevant research. Another type of project in this category is the Precision Medicine Imaging Project which aim at searching new imaging methods and technologies to improve the imaging techniques and analysis for the benefit of clinical use. The third category are Data-Intensive Research Projects which are funded in partnership with SDSC and aim at applying specifically data science technologies to solve medical questions. Lastly, Driver Projects are projects funded jointly between PHRT and SPHN with the objective to promote personalized health research by using the data infrastructures developed by SPHN.
